(TGC) (NASDAQ: TGE) today announced that early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended (HSR Act), has been granted in connection with the previously announced proposed strategic business combination between Dawson and TGC. Accordingly, the condition to the proposed business combination relating to the expiration or termination of the HSR Act waiting period has been satisfied.
