Debenhams : MATTHEW WILLIAMSON TAKES OVER THE DEBENHAMS DESIGNER APARTMENT AT CHEVAL THREE QUAYS

From 1 June 2016 celebrated Designer at Debenhams, Matthew Williamson takes over the reins from Ben de Lisi as designer in residence of luxury five-star apartment hotel, Cheval Three Quays, London.

Guests will get to live the designer lifestyle in the luxury two-bedroom apartment, which showcases Matthew's SS16 collection for Debenhams (in-stores now) and offers a preview to his unseen AW16 collection.

The year-long partnership with Designers at Debenhams, launched with Ben de Lisi in March and will see further designers dress the apartment in their own inimitable style including Abigail Ahern, Julien Macdonald and John Rocha.

Matthew Williamson's two-bedroom apartment boasts dramatic floor to ceiling windows with unrivalled views across the River Thames, Tower Bridge, The Shard and City Hall. Every detail of the room, curated by the designer, has been carefully considered to effortlessly mix luxury with his own personal style.

Bright and fun yet sophisticated, Matthew's collection is full to the brim with paradise-inspired prints, pom-poms and striking embellishment, with a modern Cuban twist. His collection celebrates the Arts and Crafts movement with refined historic prints and turn-of-the-century inspired symmetry. Pineapples, peacocks, patchwork layering, beautifully beaded cushions and exotic birds are key looks.

'I've loved interior design as long as I have fashion design so working on my homeware collection for DEBENHAMS is a real passion project.
