The award is the highest honor given during the 11 day festival, which is running February 3 through February 13 at the historic Arlington theatre in the heart of Santa Barbara.

Depp was honored for his commitment to many diverse roles including Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Chocolat, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Black Mass, just to name a few.
