MOLINE, Illinois (Feb. 23, 2017) - Beginning March 1, John Deere attractions in Iowa and Illinois will offer extended hours of operation and eliminate admission fees at locations that had charged in the past.

The changes will provide a more consistent experience at the John Deere attractions that draw thousands of tourists each year to the communities where they are located.

These include the John Deere Pavilion and Store and the World Headquarters Display Floor in Moline, Illinois; the John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum in Waterloo, Iowa; and the John Deere Historic Site in Grand Detour, Illinois.

'Our facilities are a catalyst for tourism in the region,' said Brigitte Tapscott, manager, John Deere Attractions. 'These changes will improve the overall tourism experience for visitors to these communities by making our attractions more accessible.'

Beginning March 1, the new hours of operation at each location will be Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Noon to 4 p.m. In addition, all John Deere attractions in the two states will be free to visit, eliminating admission fees that had been charged at some locations in the past.

Each of the John Deere attractions host special events throughout the year. To learn more about the John Deere attractions, review a calendar of events, and plan a visit, go to www.VisitJohnDeere.com.
