• Dell's Founders 50 provides high-growth startups technology, mentorship and resources to help them grow
  • Members of the Founders 50 cohort represent 14 industries around the world

Today Dell announced its 2016 Founders 50 cohort, an exclusive list of global startups that are disrupting their respective industries and poised to be household names in the coming years. All the companies are using innovative technology solutions to propel their growth. Members of the Founders 50 cohort receive exclusive access to marketing opportunities funded by Dell, invite-only events and networking opportunities, as well as access to the Dell for Entrepreneur's network, equipping them with valuable tools designed to accelerate their success.
This year's Founders 50 cohort has already received a combined $2 billion in funding and span 14 industries, including education, 3D printing and big data. Cohort members are identified by Dell's global team, recruited to the program and participate in a year of activities designed to tell their stories and promote their companies' offerings while empowering them with the technology they need to reach the next level of success.

To ensure the continued success of each company, Founders 50 members will also be partnered with an internal champion at Dell, allowing them custom-fitted technology solutions, access to Dell's resources as well as an opportunity to explore new partnerships and access key networking and mentorship opportunities.

The Founders 50 initiative is part ofDell for Entrepreneurs, and builds on Dell's commitment to empowering entrepreneurs around the world by providing them with the tools, technology and resources they need to be successful. Dell has a history of supporting entrepreneurs both within Dell, and externally, with#EntrepreneursUNite, Dell Ventures, Entrepreneur-in-Residence, and the Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network - which have all given Dell the opportunity to further empower high-growth startups while creating lasting customer connections.

This marks Dell's third Founders 50 cohort, with previous members includingQuarterly Co.,Mindaptiv,Switch AutomationandSkyera.

'Dell is one of the world's leading forerunners in supporting entrepreneurs. We are fortunate to be involved in two of their programs, the Dell Women's Entrepreneurs Network (DWEN) and the Dell Founders 50,' said Deb Noller, CEO of Switch Automation and a member of Dell's 2015 Founders 50 Fall Class.

'The Founders 50 recognizes industry-disruptive companies and apart from the scheduled programs which host educational events with highly valuable networking and media opportunities, the most gratifying aspect of collaborating with Dell is the validation. When Dell, an industry giant, recognizes Switch Automation, a start-up with Australian origins and global ambitions, to transform the way the world manages its buildings, it speaks volumes to me, to my talented and hardworking team and to our customers.'
