U.S. airline offers more seats on daily nonstop flights compared to 2014

ISTANBUL, November 25, 2014 - Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) is increasing the number of seats it offers between Istanbul Ataturk Airport and New York John F. Kennedy International Airport for the 2015 summer season.

Delta will resume operations with a daily service from June 17, 2015, using an Airbus A330-300 aircraft with 292 seats - an increase of almost 30% compared to summer 2014. Once in New York, passengers can conveniently connect to a number of destinations including Orlando, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle.

"Recent figures from the Turkish Government revealed that tourism income increased 11% in the three months to September this year to top $12 billion," said Perry Cantarutti, Delta's senior vice president for Europe, Middle East and Africa. "Delta is proud to support the local economy with our seasonal service and we hope that by increasing capacity next year, we are able to facilitate even higher tourism and business traffic between the U.S. and Turkey."

Delta's Istanbul services feature full flat-bed seats with direct aisle access in a 1x2x1 configuration in the BusinessElite cabin.
