The Supervisory Board of Delta Lloyd has appointed Rob Ruijter as Chairman of the Supervisory Board with effect from 1 October 2015. He will succeed Jean Frijns, who will step down on that same date. The Supervisory Board is expected to nominate a candidate to fill the vacancy resulting from Jean Frijns's departure during the next shareholders meeting. Further details will follow in the usual manner.

He is a highly experienced executive with a broad range of (financial) competencies. Ruijter has served as CFO and CEO of large enterprises, including listed companies.
