DELTEK IN : Deltek Insight 2011 A Resounding Success

Deltek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PROJ), the leading global provider of enterprise

annual Insight Conference in Nashville, TN.
Insight 2011 featured approximately 3,000 attendees representing
hundreds of individual organizations. Representatives from small,
project-based firms to large, multi-national organizations came together
at Insight to share ideas, learn best practices, network with
colleagues, and attend educational sessions on Deltek's portfolio of
enterprise applications and information solutions. In addition,
executives from government contractors attended the conference to take
part in Deltek's unique business development track and participate in
teaming opportunities that focus on matching smaller government
contractors with prime contractors.
At Insight 2011, Deltek announced innovative products across all of its
major product lines and target markets. The notable announcements
included the release of Deltek First, an innovative
Software-as-a-Service financial management and business development
solution for small to midsize government contractors; Deltek Costpoint
Analytics, a cutting-edge role-based dashboard for government
contractors; and Deltek PM Compass, a project management platform for
government contractors that manage complex program management. In
addition, Deltek also previewed several new solutions that are targeted
for release within the next year including Deltek Costpoint 7, Deltek's
flagship enterprise software solution for large government contractors;
Deltek Vision 7.0, the premier enterprise software solution for the
architecture and engineering industry; and Deltek Maconomy 2.0, the
leading enterprise management system for professional services firms
around the globe.
The first full day of the conference featured keynote addresses from
Kevin Parker, President and CEO of Deltek, and renowned oceanographer
Dr. Robert Ballard, best known for discovering the RMS Titanic. The
schedule on Tuesday also featured presentations from executives of
Deltek customers including Shawn Pressley, Deputy CIO of Hill
International and Hans Hollister, Senior Vice President of Business
Development at L-3 STRATIS.
During the show, attendees also had the opportunity to tour the Insight
Expo where over 30 companies - including Aronson LLC, Acumen Advisors,
ECP and Great Circle Solutions - displayed their products and services
to the thousands of registrants in attendance.
