Deutsche Bank is expanding its presence in Berlin, creating modern and future-oriented office infrastructure through the development of the Campus at Otto-Suhr-Allee.

By the end of 2016, bank departments from a number of locations throughout Berlin will have relocated to the offices at Otto-Suhr-Allee, near Ernst-Reuter-Platz. The existing infrastructure - an office building constructed in the 1960s and modernised in 2003 - will be complemented by a new structure that will accommodate up to 2,500 employees. The new building will be constructed in accordance with the LEED Gold Standard and the corresponding sustainability criteria, and will also feature a modern workplace concept. The building will be owned and leased by Art-Invest Real Estate.

"The development of this new campus is further proof of just how important Berlin is to us. The new offices will create an attractive and efficient infrastructure for both Deutsche Bank employees and those working for its subsidiaries and will allow for more effective collaboration within the Bank," says Harald Eisenach, Head of the Regional Management of Deutsche Bank's Region East in Germany.

The branch network will remain unaffected by the relocation, as will the Bank's  offices on 'Unter den Linden' - a major building complex in Berlin that also houses the Deutsche Bank KunstHalle. With roughly 4,000 employees, Berlin is Deutsche Bank's fifth-largest location in the world.

Staff members will be kept up to date on details of the planning process.
