American Banker has named Fiona Bassett, Head of Deutsche Asset Management's Passive business in the Americas, to its list of '25 Most Powerful Women in Finance ' and Susan Skerritt, Head of Global Transaction Banking Americas, Global Head of Institutional Cash Management (ICM) and Chairwoman, President and CEO of Deutsche Bank Trust Corporation and Deutsche Bank Trust Corporation Americas (DBTC/DBTCA) to its list of '25 Women to Watch' in banking in 2016.

American Banker, a leading news resource in the industry, reaches 560,000 financial services professionals. The annual rankings recognize the top 75 women in the US financial industry, assessing each candidate by their impact on her company, industry and community, as well as the level of innovation and leadership she brings to her role. Deutsche Bank nominated both Bassett and Skerritt to show support for the many contributions they make to the Bank and its successes.

This is the second consecutive year Fiona has been selected as one of the '25 Most Powerful Women in Finance' by American Banker. She has been able to accomplish a significant amount in the brief time she's been in New York. Just three years after beginning its build-out, the US Deutsche X-trackers platform was named 'Best ETF Issuer in 2015' in the annual ETF.com Awards. Under Fiona's leadership, the US Passive strategy business continues to grow through strategic hires and product launches to provide a full service offering to our clients, leveraging the intellectual capital of the bank's entire franchise to further enhance the client experience.

This is the third year in a row that Susan has been named to American Banker's 'Women to Watch' list. Since joining the Bank in 2013, Susan has driven the growth of our GTB business in the Americas and continues to find new opportunities to introduce programs that increase cross-selling and drive revenues. GTB Americas has gotten off to an impressive start this year with a record 1st Half, every business line has outperformed plan. As Global Head of ICM, Susan is leading the bank's effort to enable cross-border money movement in an increasingly challenging global environment. In 2015, global ICM generated franchise revenues that were up 15% from 2014.

Susan sits on the DB USA board of directors and other senior governance committees in the Americas, helping to develop strategy and drive growth for the bank in the region.
