As in previous years, Deutsche Beteiligungs AG will present itself at Super-Return International in Berlin, one of the world's leading private equity and venture capital conferences. At a panel discussion on 'The German private equity market: the new Super Power?' in the run-up to the conference, Torsten Grede, Spokesman of the DBAG Board of Management, and other industry experts talked about the prospects for the German private equity market.

During the discussion, Grede quoted DBAG's analysis of management buy-outs in the German mid-market segment in cooperation with FINANCE. This analysis showed that private equity is becoming increasingly acceptable among founders and entrepreneurial families when it comes to arranging succession. In 2017, one in three management buyouts in the German mid-market segment was a succession agreement.

Further information on DBAG's market analysis is available in our newsroom here.
