In the context of evaluating investment opportunities in existing and new asset-classes, Deutsche Börse AG has entered into negotiations with SIX Group AG regarding a full acquisition of the joint venture companies STOXX AG and Indexium AG by Deutsche Börse AG for a purchase price of CHF 650 Mio. The parties want to clarify all other contractual modalities in the upcoming negotiations. In the event that the discussions with SIX Group AG can be brought to a successful conclusion, a binding agreement will at least be subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG, potentially required regulatory approvals and the approval of the SIX Boards. Currently, Deutsche Börse AG owns 50,1% in STOXX AG and 49,9% in Indexium AG.
