This reference index tracks the performance of fixed-income government bonds issued by emerging market governments, which have a minimum term of 13 months and are denominated in the local currency of the respective issuer. The ETF does not buy all the securities contained in the index, but selects a sample to create a portfolio with the same risk and reward characteristics as the index.
