Deutsche Post DHL, a long-time partner of the Beethovenfest, will once again support concerts in the world-renowned composer's hometown in 2014. In addition to providing financial support to cultural life in the city where the company is based, the Group will offer an excellent supporting program in the Post Tower, just as it has done in years past. These free events are designed for Bonn residents who are interested in classical concerts and modern interpretations - and in particular for those who do not regularly listen to and experience classical music. More than 30,000 visitors have been reached through these events in the past.

"It is always a great feeling to enthusiastically support a cultural highlight in Bonn where around 8,000 of our employees live and work," said Christof Ehrhart, Director of Corporate Communications and Corporate Responsibility at Deutsche Post DHL. "With our support, we want to make sure the motto of the Beethovenfest, 'Divine Spark,' is felt by many guests."

Wide range of concerts in the Post Tower Lounge

The program in the Post Tower Lounge is always free of charge to visitors. It will once again include a wide range of concerts, from classical music and chansons to "Young Persons' Stage" and chamber music. This year's program will also offer concerts designed in particular for children who live in Bonn and the surrounding area. Last year's first such event focused on Mozart's "Magic Flute" and was really popular among the young audience. In addition to the program in the Post Tower, the Group is supporting concerts by "Clear the Stage for Beethoven" that secondary school students from Bonn perform at central venues in the city.
