The new free SIMSme app of Deutsche Post is the official messaging partner of dmexco 2014, the leading international expo and conference for the digital economy, as well as the official presenter of the new "start-up village". As part of the partnership, the SIMSme app for smartphones will be presented at dmexco and in the region on September 10-11, 2014.

"The dmexco is the ideal platform for introducing the SIMSme app in the expansive framework of a dialog and communications oriented audience," explained Franko Fischer, Vice President of Communications at Deutsche Post. SIMSme provides a secure method for users to send text messages, images, and videos as well as contact and location information. Marco Hauprich, Senior Vice President of Mobile & New Media at Deutsche Post had this to say about the new app: "Deutsche Post stands for more than 500 years of secure, trustworthy and sustainable communications and correspondence. SIMSme brings these values and experience into the digital age and thus meets the needs of the population for data security and protection."

SIMSme automatically encrypts all messages at the sender and decrypts them only after they have reached the recipient. As a result, it is impossible for third-parties to read the messages. All data is saved exclusively on servers in Germany and the messages are deleted from the server once they have been delivered to the recipient. If you need to send confidential text messages, you can also equip SIMSme with a self-deleting mechanism for transmitted data. This allows senders to have any message they send "self-destruct" if necessary.

SIMSme is the official presenter of the "start-up village"

As part of the cooperation with the Koelnmesse exhibition center and the dmexco team, SIMSme is also the official presenter of the fair's first ever "start-up village", which allows German start-ups to present creative business models to numerous trade and industry representatives.
