The National Association of Realtors® has selected DeVry Online Services to assist in delivering the REALTOR® University Graduate School, the only advanced education institution focused exclusively on real estate.

The REALTOR® University Graduate School, with curriculum designed by real estate experts from the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), was built and is maintained with assistance from DeVry Online Services, a part of DeVry Inc., a global provider of education services.

"Working with the National Association of Realtors® to assist in creating the REALTOR® University Graduate School is another way for DeVry to help expand career-focused training for the next generation of professionals," said Daniel Hamburger, DeVry president and chief executive officer.

REALTOR® University's Master of Real Estate (MRE) degree is one of about 20 graduate programs in the United States offering the MRE or similar degree. But it is the only program affiliated with the NAR and only one of a handful of real estate graduate level programs to be offered exclusively online.

"DeVry Online Services enables the REALTOR® University Graduate School to deliver its programs through a global online campus, meeting the needs of a diverse and geographically dispersed student population," said Dale Stinton, REALTOR® University president and National Association of Realtors® chief executive officer.

With 20,000 expected to attend more than 100 educational sessions at this year's REALTORS® Conference & Expo (Nov. 9 - 12 in Orlando, Fla.) the need for expanded, yet flexible education offerings is evident to remain competitive in the real estate industry, Stinton said.

REALTOR® University also includes the School of Professional Development and Continuing Education, with more than 400 hours of online education that leads to several designations and certifications. This includes continuing education credit-approved courses available in most states.

"With a dedicated support center staffed and managed by DeVry Online Services, students in the REALTOR® University MRE program receive many of the same benefits students of DeVry educational institutions do, such as admissions advisors and registrar services," said Christopher Caywood, president of DeVry Online Services. "And through online delivery, we've helped build the REALTOR® University Graduate School to fit into the busy lives of working professionals with anytime, anywhere virtual classrooms."

REALTOR® University is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education to operate and grant degrees. Master of Real Estate courses are offered six times annually in eight-week sessions. The next session begins January 7, 2013. For more information, visit: RealtorU.com.
