During the last quarter of 2015, the Direct Energie Group generated estimated revenue of €330.2M, a 35.8% increase compared to the last quarter of 2014. This performance was notably driven by a strong acceleration in acquisitions with 179,000 customer sites acquired during the last quarter (more than 50% growth compared to the 118,000 acquisitions during the last quarter 2014).

This sales momentum has helped the Group exceed the symbolic landmark of one billion euros in consolidated annual revenue. Revenue amounted to €1.0165 Bn for the financial year, an increase of 25.5% compared to 2014 (+25.6% excluding Energy Management at €1.0168 Bn vs. €809.5 Bn), and therefore exceeds the financial revenue growth forecastthat was set at +20%.


Thanks to the strong contribution of the last quarter 2015, the Group confirms the acquisition of 594,000 customer sites for the financial year, above its annual target for customer acquisitions, which had been revised upwards to more than 540,000 acquisitions at the beginning of October 2015.

This sales performance brings the customer portfolio at 31 December 2015 to 1,591,000 sites, broken down as follows:

  • 1,248,000 in electricity and 343,000 in gas
  • 1,337,000 individuals and 254,000 professional users
