(Los Angeles, CA)  - TLC brings back the unique family series, SISTER WIVES, for eight all new episodes kicking off with a super-sized two-hour winter season premiere on Sunday, January 4th at 9pm (ET/PT). The hit series is back following the exceptional Brown family through the trials and tribulations that come with the plural marriage lifestyle.

Kody and the Sister Wives - Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn - have settled into life in the cul-de-sac, but life is anything but easygoing for the family. The family prepares for two of their daughters, Mykelti and Madison, to graduate high school bringing a flurry of mixed emotions. And, the family bands together to deal with a potentially risky surgery involving their son Dayton.

The sister wives are also presented with new business partnership opportunities that give rise to a serious discussion about their long-term goals. They weigh the pros and cons of opening up to the possibilities that lie ahead.

MEET THE BROWN FAMILY

Kody  46 years old, father of 17 children, husband to four women - Meri in April 1990, Janelle in January 1993, Christine in March 1994, and Robyn in May 2010.

Meri (first wife): 42-years old, married 24-years and has one daughter named Mariah 19 years old

Janelle (second wife): 45-years old, married 21-years and has six children - Logan, 20; Madison, 19; Hunter, 17; Garrison, 15; Gabriel, 13 and Savanah, 10.

Christine (third wife): 41-years old, married 20-years and has six children - Aspyn, 19; Mykelti, 18; Paedon, 16; Gwendlyn, 13; Ysabel, 11 and Truely, 4-years old.

Robyn (fourth wife): 36-years old, married four years and has three children from her last marriage - Dayton, 14; Aurora, 12 and Breanna, 9, and one child by Kody - Solomon, 3.
