New York, NY. - Discovery (Nasdaq: DISCA, DISCB, DISCK), the global leader in real life entertainment, announced today it has selected 230 Park Avenue South in New York's Flatiron district as the location for its new global headquarters.

Discovery will consolidate several of its existing New York office locations into the new space, with a targeted move in date beginning in Fall of 2019 and continuing through mid-2020, following a renovation of the new facility.

  • A creative, collaborative environment including an open floorplan and loft-like features such as exposed ceilings and natural light
  • A ground floor studio and production space
  • A large outdoor rooftop terrace
  • A full-service Wellness Center
  • A dedicated Discovery lobby
  • Close proximity to public transportation, green spaces, and dining

Discovery was assisted in the real estate search process by commercial brokerage firm JLL.

In January 2018, Discovery announced plans to relocate its current global headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland to New York. The company maintains a National Operations Headquarters in Knoxville, TN (former headquarters of Scripps Networks Interactive. Discovery closed on its acquisition of Scripps Networks in March 2018).
