Humphrey Singer to step down as Group Finance Director

Dixons Carphone plc (the 'Company') announces Humphrey Singer, Group Finance Director, has informed the Board of his decision to step down to take up the position of CFO at Marks and Spencer Group plc. Humphrey is expected to continue as Group Finance Director of Dixons Carphone until July 2018. The Board has already commenced a search for a suitable replacement.

Ian Livingston, Chairman said: 'On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Humphrey for his very significant contribution to both Dixons and Dixons Carphone. He has been an important part of the Company's achievements over the past 11 years. We wish him all the best in his new role.'

His deep understanding of retail, hard work, absolute integrity and good humour have made working with him both a pleasure and a privilege.
