VICTORIA RENOVATES ITS FIRST SUPERMARKET IN A FORMER SEVENTH CONTINENT LOCATION Moscow, Russian Federation, July 28, 2017 Victoria chain, which constitutes a part of DIXY Group, opens its first renovated supermarket in Kaliningrad converted from the facilities acquired from the Seventh Continent in December 2016. Victoria's program of renovating the facilities in line with its standards is scheduled to be completed within 1.5-2 years

The renovated supermarket with a total area of 5,168 square meters is located in Mariupolskaya Street in Kaliningrad. The renovation lasted three months. Before now, since January 2017, out of the nine facilities acquired by DIXY Group, one store was converted into the neighborhood store format under the Dyoshevo brand, the other eight changed their signs and underwent minor redecorations. The supermarket opened today marks the start of a large-scale renovation of all stores previously owned by a different chain.

The building on Mariupolskaya Street has undergone serious alterations: the facade was upgraded in line with Victoria's new brand book, the entrance lobby became more attractive owing to natural larch finishing Retail equipment in the 1113-square-meter sales area has been replaced, and the area has been redecorated. Sales area planning approach has been changed: the supermarket has considerably expanded its assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables, and began to offer more chilled products in meat and fish sections.

It now features an own production workshop, bakery, smoke shop, and pizza parlor. The innovations allowed to expand the output of the famous "Made in Victoria" delicatessen to 450 product titles. The total store assortment features over 9000 articles, with 7300 of them accounting for food products and 1500 for non-food fast moving consumer goods. The assortment also widely represents products of Kaliningrad manufacturers.

The new Victoria has 10 checkout points and a staff of 55 employees, who are going to service up to 2000 customers per day.

Subleasing area (over 3000 square meters) has also been upgraded, becoming more convenient for both tenants and customers. All structural elements, including insulated glazing units, have been replaced. Victoria shopping center will soon open clothing, shoes, cosmetics, toys, sports and household goods, and furniture stores, bookstore, florist salon, pet store, dry cleaning store, drugstore, cafe, and lots of other outlets. The center will also feature a nice and spacious activity room for children.
