MONTREAL, June 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - Dollarama Inc. (TSX: DOL) ("Dollarama" or the "Corporation") announced today that it intends to purchase for cancellation up to 200,000 of its common shares pursuant to one or more private agreements between Dollarama and an arm's?length third-party seller. The purchases will form part of Dollarama's normal course issuer bid announced on June 10, 2015, which provides authorization for the purchase of up to 4,500,765 common shares during the 12-month period from June 17, 2015 to June 16, 2016.

Such purchases will be made pursuant and subject to the terms of an issuer bid exemption order issued by the Ontario Securities Commission and will take place before June 16, 2016. In accordance with the order, Dollarama's purchases under private agreements will not exceed, in the aggregate, one-third of the maximum number of shares that it may purchase under its normal course issuer bid, or 1,500,255 common shares. The price that Dollarama will pay for any common shares purchased by it under such agreements will be negotiated by Dollarama and the third-party seller and will be at a discount to the prevailing market price of Dollarama's common shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange at the time of the purchase.
