Moises Iavarone has a huge heart for others, and it shows not only in his work life, but his personal life too.

As a territory manager for our Hispanic market, Moises is an active community member and works to embed DPS brands within community activities. He goes above and beyond to be an active, constant presence in the National City, Calif., community, which in turn has deepened DPS's roots there.

He was nominated for the 2014 Business of the Year award by the National City Chamber of Commerce for leading the execution of several brand activities that made a significant impact on businesses, schools and non-profits in their area. Recently, Moises was recognized by the National City mayor for his unyielding commitment to and involvement in the community, including sponsoring nearly every event hosted in National City.

To others, these events might just be a local picnic or a school event, but to Moises, they are opportunities for consumers and customers to see DPS present in the little things, because he believes that's what makes loyal fans.

Outside of work, his passion for helping others is a family affair. Inspired by a video he saw on Facebook, this past Christmas Moises and his family packed sandwiches and Deja Blue and distributed them to the homeless of San Diego, Calif., on Christmas Day.

'I believe it's important to set a good example for my kids,' says Moises. 'I know they will one day mirror my actions. They know I will attempt the impossible to help someone in need. My hope is that eventually, my examples and actions will create a momentum of people wanting to help others and their communities, too.'
