EL SEGUNDO, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 22, 2014) - Fuhu, Inc., creator of nabi® -- the world's first Android tablet built just for kids -- is getting revved up for an exciting and meaningful new sponsorship with NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series driver Landon Cassill, fresh off his attention-grabbing ninth-place finish in Thursday night's second Daytona 500 qualifying race. In addition to acting as the primary sponsor in 18 Sprint Cup races, Cassill will debut the nabi branding on his No. 40 Hillman Racing Chevrolet at the NASCAR® season-opening race, the Daytona 500, on Sunday, February 23, where Cassill rolls off in the 18th position.

Philanthropy is a large and important part of this sponsorship. For every Fuhu-sponsored primary race -- beginning with the event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in two weeks -- Cassill will donate five percent of his race team's prize money to benefit nabi Inspire, Fuhu's philanthropic arm with the mission to offer direct support for families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and help raise awareness. Fuhu will then match that donation with an additional five percent for a 10 percent total that could reach in excess of $175,000 during the initial 18-race program. During that time, Hillman Racing also will be leveraging its assets to bring additional partners to join the cause-related marketing program in an attempt to increase awareness of nabi Inspire.

"Landon Cassill is a promising, young, talented driver that exhibits real potential to be a top 10 NASCAR driver; however, we chose to sponsor Landon's number 40 car because of his impeccable character and dedication to co-invest in supporting and creating awareness for autism! We are excited to join the NASCAR community and proud to sponsor Landon Cassill," said Jim Mitchell, CEO of Fuhu.

Fuhu's signature product and sponsor headliner is the nabi brand. Leading that ecosystem is the nabi tablet, the first full-featured Android tablet made just for kids -- designed and created to deliver the best and most enriching, entertaining and educational experiences. Corporately, Fuhu has already had a successful year after being named by Forbes Magazine as America's Most Promising Company. In 2013, Inc. Magazine named Fuhu, America's #1 Fastest Growing Company, and PC Magazine named nabi® the best tablet for kids. Also earlier this year, Fuhu unveiled, their newest state-of-the-art tablet, the DreamTab, slated to launch this spring. The DreamTab was designed from the ground-up just for kids and built in partnership with DreamWorks Animation (NASDAQ: DWA) and Intel (NASDAQ: INTC).

"Fuhu creates high-quality products that are both innovative and family friendly. As the father of a young daughter, this means a lot to me. I'm looking forward to collaborating with Fuhu this season both on the track and with any donations my team is able to make on their behalf as well as helping to raise awareness to the cause," said Landon Cassill.

Cassill made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut in 2007. In 2008, he won NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie-of-the-Year honors driving for the Dale Eanrhardt Jr.-owned JR Motorsports. Cassill was a test driver for Hendrick Motorsports when Jimmie Johnson began his unprecedented title run and made his Sprint Cup Series debut in 2010. Cassill's first full-time season in the Sprint Cup Series was 2012 and he joined Hillman Racing in 2013.
