DRONE VOLT Villepinte, 29 February 2016 - DRONE VOLT, the leader in the French professional drone industry, accelerates its international expansion from the second half of 2015 and announces the opening of two trade offices in the United States and Switzerland. True to its strategy, DRONE VOLT will continue to use local employees to take care of each market.
In the United States, DRONE VOLT has hired Daniel Roe as EVP, an acknowledged expert in the field of consumer and professional electronics products and most recently in the professional drone field specifically. Dan was notably worldwide Director of Sales, with Freefly Systems, a company specializing in camera stabilizers and drones for the world of cinema and broadcasting. Prior to Freefly Systems, Dan worked as VP of Sales and Business Development for Music Group and as Sales VP for Strategic Accounts at Sony Electronics, Inc.
Dan will lean on the wealth of the catalogue of products and services developed by Drone Volt, and notably the DRONE Volt PILOT® application, newly developed for iOS. Applications such as DRONE Volt PILOT®, developed solely by DRONE Volt, further enrich and enhance the offerings of the company and reinforce its position as the leader of complete solutions in the area of the professional and civil use drones.
As previously announced, DRONE VOLT has already been doing business in Quebec since the beginning of the year with it's subsidiary, DRONE VOLT CANADA which opened in partnership with Freeway Prod, an aerial camera specialist with drones.
After the successful launching of DRONE VOLT SCANDINAVIA, in Northern Europe, the company is also excited now to announce the opening of a new office in Lugano, Switzerland, piloted by VP, Stefano Valentini. This office will have charge of commercial development for the Helvetic territory and also run all operations for the Adriatic Zone (Italy, Croatia and Slovenia).
After graduating from the University of London, Stefano worked many years as an account executive for high net worth individuals at Merrill Lynch Monte Carlo. He later moved to Switzerland to continue work in the private banking sector. Stefano became CEO of Cybergun Italia Srl in 2010 and is now proud to manage Drone Volt's sales efforts in Switzerland, Italy and the Adriatic region
