Until the beginning of this year we did not have our own office in Mauritius. With the acquisition of UTi Worldwide Inc. we added this location to the DSV world map.
'With over 20 years of experience in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean region, we offer a whole range of services,' says Managing Director Patrick Bouquet and continues; 'Our office is located in the Port Louis area in convenient proximity to the container freight station, the customs authorities' office, and other local service providers.'
Growing with the textile industry but expanding into other industries
The office in Mauritius has to a large extent grown with the textile sector and its growing exports to other African countries, the US and European countries.
However, today we also handle air and sea freight import of spare parts for several well-known car brands, the major local importers of pharmaceutical products and one of the larger IT equipment companies.
