A new modern logistics site in Homburg has been inaugurated and, supervised by DSV Road CEO Søren Schmidt, the tape was cut simultaneously by five key persons attending the event.

Moving in together
Our Road and Solutions divisions share the new Homburg logistics centre which handles both cross-docking and contract logistics and replaces three former Saarland sites. It is built on a 65,000 m2 lot that is conveniently located with easy access to the motorway system. On an average day, DSV has almost 2,000 shipments out of Homburg. The site primarily handles goods for the automotive industry but also industrial products and products for the retail business.

The site has a 10,000 m2 warehouse, a 10,000 m2 cross docking area and 2,000 m2 office space. 130 colleagues are already working at the site which is prepared to accommodate up to a total of 250 employees.
