(Minneapolis, Minn. - March 26, 2014) Duke Realty Corporation (Duke Realty) has hired Josh Budish as Vice President, Leasing and Development, in its Minneapolis office. Budish, a 12-year commercial real estate veteran, will be responsible for leasing the company's 4.4 million-square foot portfolio and identifying new development and investment opportunities. Duke Realty currently owns, manages and leases more than 4 million square feet in industrial properties, as well as The Shops at West End, a 381,922-square foot retail lifestyle center in St. Louis Park. Duke Realty also has 130 acres available in strategic locations in the Twin Cities metro area for future development.

Before joining Duke Realty, Budish was Director of Leasing for Liberty Property Trust in Minneapolis. He got his start in the commercial real estate industry at CBRE in Minneapolis in 2002. Budish is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He is a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). He also has been designated a Certified Commercial Investment Member by the CCIM Institute.
