Is it possible and realistic to realize this year the 'Major Demonstration Area'?

The Major Area Demonstration (MAD) is a 3 phase project and has already commenced with one of the world's most advanced engineering companies VDL Emerging Technologies Group. Phase 1 - Feasibility and Functional Specification - announced in February 2016 is expected to take 3 - 4 months. The MAD project is expected to take 12 - 18 months and its completion will depend on the nature of the technical challenges that occur with device scale-up. MAD will be a big value-driver for investors as its purpose is demonstration, testing and accreditation.

What is the current status in Turkey?

Turkey is proceeding inexorably. The delays to the expected schedule have been because of the processes involved with government committees and approvals. We remain as confident as ever that it will have a very positive outcome and will be a lead commercialization opportunity for Dyesol and PSC technology. What is the progress within the SPECIFIC Project and what is the meaning of SPECIFIC for Dyesol?

Dyesol is a SPECIFIC industrial member. Dyesol does not comment on the progress at SPECIFIC without prior approval from the senior members, which include Tata Steel. However, the benefits of SPECIFIC and Solliance combined give Dyesol access to the world's best processing expertise that it requires to develop and commercialise Perovskite Solar Cell PV on metals using roll-to-roll manufacturing technology.
