Dynegy Inc. (NYSE: DYN) retail brands – Dynegy and Homefield Energy – received the top overall ranking in the Energy Research Consulting Group’s (ERCG) annual survey of electricity aggregators, brokers, and consultants (ABCs).

ERCG cited the brands’ consistent showing in multiple categories that demonstrate Dynegy’s commitment to customer service.

“Year after year, Dynegy has been a leader on the three main award categories of our study – overall satisfaction, price competitiveness, and ease of doing business,” said Young Kim, Principal at Energy Research Consulting Group. “We are honored to award Dynegy with the top ranking in Overall Satisfaction, given their consistency and dedication to their ABC partners.”

Dynegy Retail, which operates in Illinois, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and Homefield Energy, which operates in the Ameren service area of Illinois, were recognized by survey respondents for price satisfaction and ease of doing business. More than half of Dynegy’s ABCs expanded their relationship with the two brands during the last 12 months.

“We’re proud to receive ERCG’s top overall ranking, a distinction that validates our customer focus,” said Dynegy Executive Vice President of Retail Sheree M. Petrone. “We’re committed to providing competitive plans, innovative products, and exceptional customer service.”
