DuPont, Suntech, Others Create Lobby Backing Solar Energy -Bloomberg

(ADR)) and six other companies have formed a lobby to promote solar power worldwide and to combat complaints of low-cost solar panels being dumped on European and U.S. markets, Bloomberg News reported Thursday.
The other companies include Siemens AG (>> Siemens AG), Applied Materials Inc. (>> Applied Materials, Inc.), Dow Corning, Phoenix Solar AG (PS4.XE) and Lanco Infratech Ltd. (532778.BY), according to the report.
A complaint from SolarWorld AG against Chinese solar-panel firms led to tariffs on panels, which could lead to increasing costs for consumers, according to Bloomberg.
