E.vance T/m Gl Buy : Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Buy-Write Closed-End Equity Funds Annual Meeting of Shareholders

At a meeting held today, the Board of Trustees of each of Eaton Vance
Tax-Managed Buy-Write Income Fund (NYSE: ETB); Eaton Vance Tax-Managed
Buy-Write Opportunities Fund (NYSE: ETV); and Eaton Vance Tax-Managed
Global Buy-Write Opportunities Fund (NYSE: ETW), each a diversified
closed-end investment company, voted to hold the Annual Meeting of
Shareholders on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 1:30 P.M. EST. The meeting
will be held at the principal office of the funds, The Eaton Vance
Building, 255 State Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02109. Proxy Materials
will be mailed on or about February 28, 2007 to shareholders of record
on February 15, 2007. Shareholders will be asked to vote on the election
of two Class II Trustees.
The Funds are managed by Eaton Vance Management, a subsidiary of Eaton
Vance Corp., which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the
symbol EV. Eaton Vance and its affiliates currently have $124.1 billion
in assets under management as of September 30, 2006.
