E2V Technologies : recognised as a Centrica Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer

e2v has been recognised in the prestigious Centrica Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer list 2016, which acknowledges excellence in businesses that employ apprentices.

e2v has been offering apprenticeships for 60 years and has a dedicated internal apprenticeship support team, which works closely with local colleges and universities to create bespoke BTEC (Business and Technology Council), HNC (Higher National Certificate) and degree level apprenticeship frameworks. e2v operates across healthcare, life sciences, space, transportation, defence and security and industrial markets, and apprentices gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of the business.

Commenting on e2v's entry in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer list, Sara Laver, Head of People Development at e2v, said, 'We are extremely proud of our schemes which give our apprentices great skills and knowledge, while working and earning money. Our highly valued technicians and engineers help the Company to achieve its objectives, and are developing the essential technical skills required to support the UK economy. We invest a huge amount of effort in our apprentices because we value them as the workforce of the future, and we are delighted to be recognised in this list for the third year running.'

In England, apprenticeships are available in 1,500 occupations across 170 industries. After a rigorous selection process, the top 100 employers from all of the National Apprenticeship Awards employer categories went forward to feature in the list, which was announced at the National Apprenticeship Awards on Friday 20 January at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
