Cassidian announces the appointment of Michael Stevens to the role of Chief Executive Officer for Cassidian Ltd., the UK entity of Cassidian.

Cassidian UK has headquarters in Newport, South Wales. The Cassidian portfolio includes integrated systems, services and solutions to meet the new challenges confronting emergency services, Government security agencies, critical national infrastructure and military forces.

Cassidian is committed to developing innovation in Wales and to grow the UK's technology base. The focus on innovation has led to the expansion of our synthetic environment facilities and a leading research and technology centre - EADS Innovation Works; responsible for the development of technologies through closer links with the UK and Welsh Assembly Governments and leading universities.

Michael is well qualified to head up Cassidian UK having held various senior Defence and Security roles in Engineering, Manufacturing, Project and Business Management over the last 30 years in areas of leading edge technology, complex systems, solutions and services. He has worked in numerous locations in both the UK and abroad.
