Rochester, NY and Los Angeles, CA, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 --

Sofia Coppola, Todd Haynes, Noah Baumbach and Yorgos Lanthimos, among others, will compete for the Palme D'Or at this year's Cannes Film Festival.

Their latest films, all shot on KODAK film, will make their debut at Cannes. A total of seven films, shot on KODAK film, are in the Official Selection category.

  • 'The Beguiled', directed by Sofia Coppola, stars Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman and Kirsten Dunst
  • 'Wonderstruck', directed by Todd Haynes, stars Amy Hargreaves, Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams
  • 'The Meyerowitz Stories', directed by Noah Baumbach, stars Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and Emma Thompson
  • 'The Killing Of A Sacred Deer', directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, stars Nicole Kidman, Alicia Silverstone and Colin Farrell
  • 'Good Time', directed by Ben & Josh Safdie, stars Robert Pattinson, Barkhad Abdi and Jennifer Jason Leigh
  • 'Redoubtable', directed by Michel Hazavanicius, stars Stacy Martin, Bérénice Bejo and Louis Garrel
  • 'Jupiter's Moon' directed by Kornel Mundruczo, stars Merab Ninidze, Zoltán Mucsi, György Cserhalmi

This further proves that shooting on film has made a return to mainstream movie-making and follows this year's total of 29 Academy Award nominations for movies also shot on KODAK film. They were all captured on KODAK 35mm and 16mm Motion Picture Film stock.

Other titles, shot on KODAK, making their premiere at Cannes include 'Un Beau Soleil Interieur' directed by Claire Denis and 'The Florida Project' directed by Sean Baker.
