• easyJet expects its busiest ever Christmas with over half a million passengers travelling from UK

easyJet, the UK's largest airline, has today reported that Sunday 22 Decemberwill be its busiest day over Christmas - as over 60,000 people travel from UK airports on this date alone.

The airline is expecting its busiest ever Christmas as over 3,700 easyJet flights and over half a million passengers depart UK airports between 20 and 29 December. Across its entire network easyJet expects to carry over 1.4 million passengers on flights between 34 countries.

The most popular Christmas destinations for easyJet passengers departing the UK are Geneva, Amsterdam and Barcelona, while those visiting friends and family have favoured Belfast and Edinburgh. Popular New Year destinations are Berlin and Malaga.

Passengers travelling with easyJet this Christmas can receive live updates on their service thanks to the airline's 'flight tracker' tool available at easyjet.com and on the easyJet app.

We are doing everything possible to make travel easy and friendly this Christmas by offering online check in up to 30 days in advance, mobile boarding passes and a flight tracker tool which provides live updates on every flight."
