Eaton Vance Pennsylvania Municipal Income Trust is a non-diversified and closed-end management investment company. The Trust's investment objective is to provide current income exempt from regular federal income tax and taxes in its specified state. The Trust invests primarily in debt securities issued by California municipalities, Massachusetts municipalities, Michigan municipalities and New Jersey municipalities. The Trust intends to make monthly distributions of net investment income, after payment of any dividends on any outstanding preferred shares. In addition, the Trust intends to distribute all or substantially all of its net realized capital gains. The Trust invests in various sectors, such as education, healthcare, escrowed, insured escrowed, industrial development bonds, insured transportation, toll road, insured lease, water and sewer, and electric utilities. The Trust's investment advisor is Eaton Vance Management.
