In the2018 Summer Seller Update, we are announcing the expansion of the product-based shopping experience to make it easier for buyers to find your products wherever their search journey begins and make purchase decisions quickly and easily. We're also announcing new automation of returns to save processing time, and new benefits and discounts for eBay Stores subscribers.
Inventory Optimization
New categories in the product-based shopping experience, category and classification changes, and item specifics to help buyers find your items.
More categories will be added to support the product-based shopping experience. They include:

Voice-Enabled Smart Assistants
Starting in mid-August 2018, we will enhance your current listing capabilities to add new products to the eBay catalog or suggest revisions.
Starting in September 2018, you will need to associate your Good Til Cancelled listings in certain categories so that they will be visible to buyers
Starting July 31, 2018, you will be required to add item specifics in Comics, Coins, Pottery & Glass, and Tires categories.
Seller Metrics and Shipping
Stay on top of yourafter-sale requests, keep your delivery promise and upload tracking, and provide your shipping location zip code.
Starting in July 2018, we will provide service metrics and competitive insights
Use the class of shipping service you promised in your listing and upload tracking information.
Starting July 2, 2018, you will be required to provide a valid zip code for your item's shipping location when you list.
eBay Stores
eBay Stores feature changes, subscriber benefits and discounts, and new markdown sale event requirement.
New exclusive benefits and discounts for Stores subscribers.
eBay Stores feature changes in one convenient location-Seller Hub
Starting June 25, 2018, you must list your item for 14 calendar days at the same price before you can create a markdown sale event.
Simplified Returns
Enhanced and streamlined returns automation, partial refund guidance, and customization of your international returns policies.
Starting July 2018, we will automate two steps in the returns process for buyers and sellers.
Starting in August 2018, listings that have not been updated to one of the new returns policy options will automatically be updated.
Starting July 2018, you will have the flexibility to set separate return policies for your international transactions
