Ebiquity has announced today the appointment of David Abramo to lead Ebiquity's Media Management practice in North America.

Joining in June, David brings a wealth of industry experience to Ebiquity. A seasoned executive in global brand leadership, his career is rooted in both traditional and digital media, with expertise in communications planning and strategic brand development, omni-channel strategy and business and marketing leadership.

David most recently worked at Reebok where he led global media and communications planning, and prior to that, at media agency Initiative where he led all brand communications planning for Bayer's multivitamins portfolio. He has also held media leadership roles at PHD, MediaVest, Ogilvy and Lowe.

In this newly-created role based in New York, David will work closely with Laetitia Zinetti, Global Practice Leader for Media Management, and report to Christine Merrifield-Wehrle, US leader for the Media Performance and Media Management practices. He will lead the Media Management practice area, which comprises Agency Selection and Management, Advertiser Process and Governance, Advertiser Operating Models and Capabilities, and the Ebiquity Media Transparency Score.

Commenting on his new role, David says:

'The current media landscape has increased pressure on clients and raised expectations of their media partners. I was attracted to the opportunity to help both parties align on objectives and outcomes. I am looking forward to leveraging my experience on both sides to help clients and agencies create productive and mutually beneficial partnerships from the outset.'

Laetitia Zinetti, Managing Principal for Media Management, Ebiquity, says:

'We are delighted to welcome someone of David's caliber to the business. His extensive experience working both for brands and for media agencies will be of direct benefit in advising our clients. David's expertise will substantially strengthen our media consulting capabilities and we look forward to working with him.'
