The Company designs, develops and distributes interstitial implants used in brachytherapy for the treatment of cancer. The Company produces and markets three lines of products: Permanent implant brachytherapy, using iodine-125 (125I) implants, mainly for treating prostate cancer; Temporary brachytherapy, using ruthenium-106 (106Ru) plaques, for treating eye cancer, and Temporary brachytherapy, using high speed source projectors (MultiSource), which make it possible to treat cancer of the head, the neck, the brain and certain gynecological cancers. It operates through Mick Radio Nuclear Instruments, Inc. (MRNI), which is involved in the development of applicators for brachytherapy, Wolf-Medizintechnik GmbH and through a Belgian provider of brachytherapy accessories.
