Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "J-POWER") currently release the contents in our website at the same time to announce the press about the unplanned suspensions of our power plants with a certain scale to become the power supply trouble.

"Guidelines for Proper Electric Power Trade( Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC),

Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI))" is devised in March 2016. From the perspective to ensure the fairness and soundness in the electricity market, the power generation company is required to announce it unitarily about the unplanned suspensions of the generation facilities with a certain scale after April 2016 in order that market participants can timely perceive all the announced facts for the purpose of preventing an insider trading and market manipulation at the wholesale power exchange.
