Electricidad Argentina SA (EASA) is an Argentina-based company engaged, through its 51.54%-owned subsidiary Empresa Distribuidora y Comercializadora Norte SA (EDENOR), in the distribution and sale of electric energy. EDENOR, together with its fully consolidated subsidiaries Aeseba SA (AESEBA) and Empresa Distribuidora de Energia Norte SA (EDEN), operates in a concession area which comprises the northwestern zone of the Greater Buenos Aires and the northern part of the city of Buenos Aires. In addition, the Company is an indirect member of the holding company Pampa Energia SA. As of December 31, 2011, IEASA SA was the Company's majority shareholder with 99.99% of its interest.
