Ellen AB announced today that it has signed an employment contract with Carina Persson who will assume the position of chief executive officer for the company in February 2015. Carina Persson's previous positions include director of the Swedish market at Ferrosan for its probiotic products in the women's intimate health segment.
Carina Persson most recently served as CEO of Sweden Recycling, a subsidiary to Rentokil. Before that she was director of the Swedish market at Ferrosan for five years, where she was tasked with building up an organization to launch probiotic dietary supplements, herbal medicinal products, medical devices and intimate health products in pharmacy chains and health food stores. Vivag, a natural remedy for vaginal infections based on lactic acid bacteria, was one of the products in the company's portfolio. Ms Persson's career also includes the position of European product manager for dental pharmaceuticals.
