ELLIE MAE INC Ellie Mae® (NYSE:ELLI), a leading provider of innovative on-demand software solutions and services for the residential mortgage industry, today announced that Jonas Moe, the company’s vice president of product strategy, has been recognized by National Mortgage Professional as one of “40 Most Influential Mortgage Professionals Under 40.” Moe and other young leaders named to the list were profiled in the December 2014 issue of the magazine.
Published every year, National Mortgage Professional’s 40 Under 40 list recognizes the top mortgage professionals under the age of 40 who exemplify professionalism and top production in today’s housing market. Candidates are nominated by their peers.
Moe is currently responsible for the overall strategy for all Ellie Mae products and services, including its all-in-one Encompass® mortgage management solution. He has spearheaded development of several key solutions, including the recently launched Encompass Consumer Direct, which provides consumers with a way to apply for and originate a good portion of their loan themselves. Moe is also the co-founder of Ellie Mae’s philanthropic arm, EllieCares, which has committed more than $1 million a year to various charities and community service organizations.
This is the second time over the past year that Moe has been recognized for his contributions to the industry. In July 2014, he was named as one of HousingWire magazine's Rising Stars, which recognizes mortgage and housing industry professionals under the age of 40 who have become leaders in their respective fields.
