Elster Group SE ADR : Elster Introduces new S150 Single-Jet Water Meter for European and Latin American Markets

ERRENTERIA, Spain, June 1, 2012 - Elster (NYSE: ELT)
announced today that it has launched the new S150 single-jet
water meter to replace the Aurus S130 single-jet meter, a
leading product in the Spanish market for over 10 years.
This solution represents the latest innovation for Elster in
its residential product portfolio and will be launched
initially in Europe and Latin America. The introduction of
the new S150 is in response to customer demand for high
accuracy water meters for revenue collection and the growing
need for water conservation in terms of detection of water
leakage within the distribution system.
The S150 has been designed in accordance with European
Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) 2004/22/EC, with a
dynamic flow range of up to R160 for Q3 2.5 m3/h and Q3 4.0
m3/h. It is available in a range of body lengths and thread
sizes to meet customer requirements. The product offers high
accuracy with low maintenance and can additionally be
equipped with a bi-directional pulser making it suitable for
remote consumption reading.

connectivity including compatibility with Elster's Emeris
range of Smart Metering solutions, helping water utilities
manage their water resources more efficiently, providing
greater control over water leakage and providing accurate
usage data in real-time," said Pedro Egaña, regional director
of Elster's global water business.
