(NYSE: BKD) and Emeritus Corporation (NYSE: ESC) today announced the expiration of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, in connection with the previously announced proposed merger of Brookdale and Emeritus.
