du, today released the special numbers and exclusive packages that will be put up for auction through its partnership with Al Fujairah Auctions, on April 25, 2015 at the InterContinental, Dubai Festival City at 4pm.

Seventy unique numbers in four different categories will be auctioned at the event. The Gold category, has 12 numbers in total and bidding starts at AED 15, 000. The Diamond category, for which bidding starts at AED 60,000, has 52 available mobile numbers. Other categories include Platinum, with four available numbers, and Platinum Plus, with two available numbers, the bid price of each starts at AED 100, 000 and 250, 000 respectively.

All prospective bidders must register in person with Al Fujairah Auctions at the InterContinental, Dubai Festival City from 2pm on the day of the event. To register, participants must bring their Emirates ID, along with a signed cheque made out to 'Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company - du'.

As a responsible corporate citizen, du decided to dedicate part of the proceeds to benefit humanitarian causes in partnership with two charitable programmes, Alam wa Amal on Sharjah TV and Emarat El Kheir on Noor Dubai Radio Channel.

Each winner will benefit from a certificate of allocation for the exclusive mobile number. Additionally, the winners will receive a free smartphone and avail from their respective mobile plan for the period of two years.
