EEB INCLUDED IN THE DOW JONES SUSTAINABILITY INDEX FOR THE FOURTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Bogotá D.C., 25 September 2015. Empresa de Energía de Bogotá (EEB), parent company of Grupo Energía de Bogotá is pleased to inform that for the fourth consecutive year it has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) in the emerging markets category.

Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) is a world-renowned index and constitutes a benchmark for those investors engaged in sustainability management within their own investment portfolios. Furthermore, it provides an effective engagement platform for companies that would like to adhere to the best sustainability practices.

EEB has been included as part of this index since 2012 and to keep this status, companies need to continuously intensify their efforts and initiatives in sustainability related issues to benefit all of the Company's stakeholders.

In that regard, Mr. Ricardo Roa Barragán CEO of Grupo Energía de Bogotá remarked, 'to continue being part of Dow Jones is acknowledging the company's undertakings as among those using world class practices. Our permanence in DJSI reflects the comprehensiveness of our policies together with the success of our management tasks. Among the variables assessed, we address significant subjects such as corporate governance, anticorruption codes, biodiversity protection initiatives, environmental management systems and the tax strategy applied in the Group, among others'.

Mr. Roa Barragán further remarked that 'being included in DJSI, in addition to the acknowledgement received by Transparencia por Colombia, where EEB was awarded a rating of 93 over 100 and TGI 90 over 100, we consider them significant drivers to continue our endeavors as a Corporation applying the best management practices, in addition to a challenge to improve issues related to antitrust policies and the attraction and retention of human talent.

Other than EEB, Colombian companies that are part of DJSI in the emerging markets category are: Bancolombia, Cementos Argos, Ecopetrol, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana, Grupo Nutresa, Interconexión Eléctrica S.A., Isagen, Almacenes Éxito and Banco Davivienda.
