Endurance Global Weather Once Again Sweeps Environmental Finance's Annual Rankings for Weather Risk in all Four Regions

December 13, 2016

For the fourth year running, Endurance Global Weather made a clean sweep in Environmental Finance's 2016 Annual Rankings for weather risk, winning Best Dealer/ Structured Product Provider in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. For the second consecutive year, Endurance Global Weather also received top honors in a fifth category - Best Dealer (Structurer/Arranger) - Catastrophe Risk Management Global.

The Environmental Finance Annual Market Rankings, now in their 17 year, have become the established industry ranking in the weather risk, carbon, renewable energy certificates, and catastrophe risk markets. This year, 600 companies participated in the survey which asked respondents to nominate the leading brokers, dealers and service providers in the markets Environmental Finance covers. Coming out on top in all four regions, Endurance Global Weather demonstrated that it continues to thrive in these increasingly competitive markets.

Endurance Global Weather along with the other winners of this year's Environmental Finance Market Rankings are confident that market solutions to environmental challenges will continue to expand. Commenting on growing demand from energy companies in Europe and the agriculture sector in the US, Marty Malinow, President of Endurance Global Weather said, 'We're seeing new large European energy players who have never been in the market before starting to purchase protection. Their entrance into the market, as they move from pilot deals to protecting a large proportion of their business, could increase the energy protection market substantially over the next couple of years.'
