Courbevoie, May 3rd 2017

ENERTIME (FR0011915339 - ALENE), a French Company in the « Cleantech » sector offering equipment for industrial energy efficiency and production of distributed renewable energy (biomass and geothermal energy) announces winning with Veolia, through its subsidiary Syner'Val, a significant contract for the supply of a heat pump of 3.7 MW thermal capacity and a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 4.5 : one unit of electrical energy will produce 4.5 units of heat.

This Heat Pump installed in France on an Urban Waste incineration project, will recover heat lost at 48 ° C to preheat a district heating network at 75 ° C. This project is carried out within the energy optimization program of the incinerator of Le Mans Metropolis (19 communities), and is implemented by Syner'Val in a Public Service Delegation agreement signed recently (01/10/2016). For this project, the contract between Syner'Val and ENERTIME provides for the design and construction of the machine as well as integration services on site for delivery by 2018.

Fabien MICHEL, Deputy Managing Director and co-founder of the company declare: "Enertime has developed a unique expertise in design and industrialization of large turbomachinery and thermodynamic machines. With the PAC' RET program, we work since 2012 to diversify our offer of thermodynamic machines in synergy with our ORC activity, using the same teams and the same know-how. Enertime is today the only industrial actor in the world offering two technologies for high power applications. This project also strengthens our presence on the environment market with 3 signed contracts and on district heating network with 2 signed contracts ».

INDUSTRIAL HEAT PUMP TECHNOLOGY

ENERTIME's heat pumps are thermodynamic machines that enhance low-temperature heat in high temperature heat using electricity and a key component: a centrifugal compressor. These machines benefit from the financial support of the French Renewable and Energy Efficiency Agency (ADEME) through grants (Fond Chaleur) for applications in industry and district heating.

ORC machines and heat pumps have also heat sources, markets and opportunities that complement each other strongly in energy efficiency and geothermal energy applications.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Established in 2008, the company designs, develops and implements large Organic Rankine Cycle machines (ORC) and Heat Pumps for industrial energy efficiency and distributed renewable energy generation. The ORC technology allows to transform heat into electricity. Heat Pumps recover lower temperature heat to produce higher temperature heat with electricity. The company is one of the three major global actors and the only French Company fully mastering the technology of large ORC machines (1 MW and more). It is one of the few global companies manufacturing large heat pumps (> 2 MW). Based in Paris Region, the company has 42 employees including 26 engineers and has offices in Lyon and Strasbourg as well as agents or representatives in 7 countries including India and China.

The company is listed on the Alternext of Euronext Paris market. ISIN: FR0011915339-Mnemo: ALENE. Further information are available on www.enertime-bourse.com
